Christmas Lights - '06 : We bought red LED Christmas lights this year to outline the roof of the house. Red was not my first choice but that is all that Costco had. I am actually glad that we got red because it matches the front door and steps. They look great. Thanks to KJ for freezing his little fingers off putting them up there.

Central AC : Here is our AC drama...We got back from our honeymoon and it was 92 degrees inside the house. We decided to install a central air conditioning system. The HVAC company installed one unit and a couple new ducts. This system did not work!!! On an 85 degree day it would be 80 degrees inside the house. Obviously the AC was not doing the intended job. So after the HVAC guys messed with the first system for a few days, they finally decided that they had undersized the unit and replaced it with a larger one. We also have these crazy original vents under the window walls that just weren't pushing the air enough, so we asked the HVAC company to install new ducting and vents along this wall. So after two AC units and many ducts and vents, our system finally is doing a good job. All it needs is one more check up from the AC doctor to make sure the levels are correct. We are finally enjoying a cool house two months later!
